Russian Outsourcing and Software Summit is one of the largest and the most prominent events in the sphere of IT-outsourcing, software development and international cooperation on information technologies in Russia, CIS and Western Europe. First time the conference was held in 2001. On June 15-18 the Fifth Russian Software Summit will be held in hotel Pulkovskaya, St. Petersburg.
The main goals of the Forum are to get up-to-date information about state and prospects of export software market in Russia and CIS, about practices of development of this industry in the leading competitive countries, to share experience of software market participants in Russia and CIS, and certainly to establish direct contacts between customers and service/product providers in the sphere of software development.
According to tradition the Forum starts with the Plenary session, where representatives of Russian Government and St. Petersburg Administration will make a welcoming speech. The Plenary session will end with presentations by world-known analysts of software development industry.
The target auditory of the Forum is companies from Russia, CIS, Baltic States, USA, Canada, Germany, Sweden, UK, Scandinavian countries, Finland, Japan and others. There will be more than 500 visitors, 150 from foreign countries. Among the participants and VIP-guests there are representatives of world-famous companies, such as Gartner Group, IBM, Intel, Motorola, Siemens, Alcatel, Tieto Enator, Novavox, Vimpelcom etc. Friendly Associations from Germany, USA, Japan, Northern Europe countries, India, Israel will participate in the Conference. And of course all the leading export software development companies from Russian-speaking countries will take part in the Forum.
In the Forum the companies will have an opportunity to show their products and solutions on large exposition area. About 40 companies will represent their products, solutions and technologies on the exhibition and on the virtual exhibition in foyer in front of the main Congress Hall.
The system of business meeting appointment was developed specially for this event. By its help the participants will have an opportunity to carry on talks with companies which are of interest for them. B2B meetings between potential customers and service/product providers will take about a quarter of all the Conference time.
As usual, the Forum will be a subject of considerable mass media attention. All the leading trade publications will be among the information sponsors. More than 50 journalists will be accredited by the press-center, among them more than 10 foreign journalists. Press-conferences, including press-conference with VIP-Guest of the Forum and the next RUSSOFT press-club meeting, are an important part of press-center program.
As always the official program of the Conference will include an unforgettable cultural program, which will give the participants the opportunity to get acquainted with culture and architecture of the city and to communicate to each other.
